The International Awards Associate (IAA) and the London Photography Awards are proud to announce the official outcomes of the 2023 photography competition, which celebrates the finest photographers worldwide. This prestigious award acknowledges the unique photographic styles that encapsulate the essence of the world, stemming from various industries and aspects of society. It recognises the individuals who push their boundaries and capture remarkable photographs that will be etched in history.
This year, Natalia Ciobanu decidedly takes the London Photography Awards 2023, People Photography- Portrait, Professional Category, GOLD winner within the awards. The winning image was taken by Natalia Ciobanu.

Throughout this remarkable season, the competition has garnered an astounding 3,800 entries from over 55 countries across the globe, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, Spain, Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, France, and numerous others.
“The remarkable growth in quality and significance of the submissions has left me awestruck, and I believe that the entire world deserves to experience the wonders portrayed in these images,” expressed Thomas Brandt, spokesperson of IAA. “The impact of such exceptional photography on the industry is undeniable, and we are thrilled to showcase the talent of these extraordinary individuals through the profound admiration of our respected jurors.”
Grand Jury Panel
IAA has established a rigorous set of standards for selecting jurors to ensure that only the most experienced and knowledgeable professionals are invited to participate in the evaluation process. These jurors have been carefully selected to identify the most deserving candidates to be awarded. The panel comprises several distinguished experts from around the world, such as Donell Gumiran (United Arab Emirates), Benny Lau (Hong Kong S.A.R., China), Gigi Chung (United States), Jean-Thomas Bédard (Canada), Jai Thakur (India), and Lillian Liu (Canada), among others.
“As the photography industry continues to evolve, the impact of this powerful medium remains undeniable. The extraordinary accomplishments of photographers around the world demonstrate the incredible potential of the art form,” stated Thomas. “The art of photography is about expressing a unique perspective and vision through the lens, and the London Photography Awards is the representation of recognition in the field.”

Снимать человека в его любимом месте, где он проводит время, где создает уникальные картины… что может быть прекраснее?
Портрет, это не только изображение женщины или мужчины, но и попытка рассказать о нем максимально доступно с помощью визуальных элементов, наполнения кадра, света и цвета.
Однозначно парная фотография довольно интересная и одновременно узко направленная фотография.
Выбрать стиль такой съемки, направление работы, характер- основная задача фотографа от которой предстоит отталкиваться каждый раз, на съемке.
Я довольно редко снимаю пары и в тоже время, очень наслаждаюсь и радуюсь, когда удается сложить процесс в желаемом ритме и получать те самые картинки.
Как-то сложились обстоятельства, что я забросила обновлять свой сайт, но не прекращала при этом снимать.
Уверена, вы тоже соскучились по моим записям.
Буду стараться обновлять периодически ленту.
Если говорить о фотографии как о форме повествования, то такой манер мне ближе всего. Мне нравится тот факт, что скорее всего зритель тебя совершенно не поймет, не услышит, но обязательно увидит нечто близкое к самому себе, откроет какой-то личный секрет, расскажет собственную историю.
В определенный момент жизни ты безусловно чувствуешь, как набираешь скорость, бежишь, бежишь, а впереди тебя какой-то неизведанный трамплин, а дальше пропасть, за которой скрываются новые возможности. Безусловно, практически каждая съемка является таким новым опытом. Безусловно, всегда хочется расти и развиваться, делать для фотографируемого самые лучшие возможные снимки и все равно знать, что ты мог сделать лучше. Всегда можешь. Мне нравится, что мои герои всегда похожи на персонажей из какого-то кино, которые каждый из нас когда-то смотрел. Мне нравится, что несмотря ни на что, они остаются самими собой, настоящими, открытыми, честными.
